Cut-end Wet Mops: When you purchase cut-end wet mops that are labeled with an ounce
designation, example: 24 oz, then you are buying a product that is subject to U.S. weights
and measures laws. When you purchase cut-end wet mops that are labeled with a number
designation, example #24, then you are purchasing a product that is not subject to weight
regulations.
Our experience shows that there are up to three weight grades typically sold to
commercial mop users. Each company is different, but the chart below is typical of the
industry:

DMSI warrants that all cut-end wet mops sold are manufactured to full weight ounce
specifications and will meet a tolerance of + or – 10% of the weight shown. We encourage
our customers to check the specifications they purchase to ensure a fair cost comparison
from one vendor to the next.
